Rain, in trouble again, New Rural Rambling and Bob
Lunchtime on Friday and a temporary lull in gardening procedures as it's chucking it down with rain outside at the moment. There's a limit to how  effective ripped waterproofs can be. I shall resume again soon.

The naughty dog (link here for the 'naughty dog' article: http://www.ruralgateway.org.uk/cgi-bin/item.cgi?id=1724&d=11&h=24&f=46 ) has been in trouble again. As my wife snoozed on the sofa the other evening, the dog chewed her reading glasses. We were not amused. They now look like a piece of contemporary art  that would not be out of place in the Tate Gallery - bits of metal and glass at unusual angles to each other.

New Rural Rambling in the Ross-shire Journal today - the joys of a Ross-shire auction. It will hit the world wide web in a few weeks time.

Emalls received this week: a few actually. I heard from Bob in America who has a website called Emily Compost. Worth checking out if you get a moment: http://www.emilycompost.com/ )

Tomorrow I shall be at the football. Time for a win with plenty of goals (Inverness, that is, not Ross County who are doing very well at the moment). By the way, Roy Keane - Sunderland manager and Man United legend - has been spotted in  the 'Home and Away'  TV program (or so I am reliably informed). Highly unusual, as normally such footballing legends stick to advertising crisps, fish fingers and well-known supermarket chains. Good for you, Roy!
